Course overview
Barden Network Engineering offers The Smart Awards SA019 Signing Lighting & Guarding Accreditation to provide learners with the necessary information to understand and demonstrate the requirements for signing, lighting, and guarding in accordance with the New Roads and Street Works act 1991.
This accreditation sets out the skills, knowledge and understanding to support the individual to use correct equipment and methods to carry out this task safely.
Learners that successfully complete this 1 day course will be awarded a full accreditation certification for Smart Awards SA019 Signing Lighting & Guarding Accreditation.
Valid for 5 years.
Course aims:
Understanding how to survey the site and associated regulations and legislations
Understanding how to protect pedestrians, vehicular traffic, and site personnel
Be able to protect pedestrians, vehicular traffic, and site personnel
Understanding how to work safely
Be able to carry out signing, guarding, and lighting in line with approved procedures, codes of practice and statutory requirements
This course is available to those who are a minimum of 16 years old.
