Course overview
Barden Network Engineering offers The Smart Awards SA001A Overhead Safety Awareness accreditation to allow supervisors and planners who require awareness of ladders and pole safety are accredited to Industry and National Occupational Standard (NOS).
The SA001A accreditation covers three modules:
Overhead Safety
Pole Checking
Joint User Poles.
The course provides learners with valuable skills as well as knowledge of any hazardous risks involved with telecommunications.
Learners that successfully complete this 1 day course will be awarded a full accreditation certification for Smart Awards SA001A Overhead Safety Awareness.
Valid for 3 years.
Course aims:
Working Safely
Be able to access a pole using a ladder.
Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
Good practice of working overhead safely.
Be able to carry out pole checking.
Understanding of working safely on joint poles.
This course is aimed at supervisors and planners.
This course is available to any over the age of 16.
