Course overview
Barden Network Engineering offers The Smart Awards SA001 Overhead Safety Refresher accreditation to allow learners to refresh and re-test their knowledge of dangers associated with safety overhead whilst working on ladders and wooden poles.
The SA001R accreditation covers a refresh of three modules:
Overhead Safety
Pole Checking
Joint User Poles.
The course provides learners with valuable skills as well as knowledge of any hazardous risks involved with telecommunications.
Learners that successfully complete this 1 day course will be awarded a full accreditation certification for Smart Awards SA001R Overhead Safety Refresher.
Valid for 3 years.
Course aims:
Working Safely
Be able to access a pole using a ladder.
Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
Good practice of working overhead safely.
Be able to carry out pole checking.
Understanding of working safely on joint poles.
This course is aimed at supervisors, planners or those instead of a Overhead Safety Refresher.
This course is available to any over the age of 16.
Learners must’ve undertaken SA0001 to partake on the refresher course.
